Exquisite Tastes of Venice Tour
Day 1
Arrive in Venice Marco Polo Airport VCE. Private group water taxi will bring you to the center of Venice, the beautiful serene city on the water. Once a capital of international trade, Venice has acquired a unique cityscape of art, architecture, culture and food. Yes, La Serenissima, is full of charming alleys, canals, bridges and piazzas, with a surprise waiting at every turn of the corner.
Check into the modern 4 star boutique accommodations, BW Premier Sant’Elena Hotel, located in an ancient convent, just steps from the waterfront. A short walk from the hustle and bustle of Saint Marks Square and it’s world-famous museums, monuments and outdoor cafes, this hotel is situated close to the tranquil Biennale gardens and the monastery of the Olivetani monks. A 15 minute boat ride takes you to the shores of the Lido beach resort of the rich and famous.
Tonight meet fellow travelers over a glass of chilled Prosecco, the local bubbly of choice, and discuss plans for the days to come.
Take a short walk to one of Venice’s most antique neighborhoods, the Castello district, for dinner in one of the city’s top rated seafood restaurants, Al Covo.

Day 2
After a leisurely breakfast in the hotel, take a guided walking tour of Venice’s winding canals and inviting neighborhoods. Of course we’ll hit the infamous fish and produce markets, but also must-sees like St. Mark’s Square, the Basilicata, the Campanile, the Doges’ Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the Grand Canal, the beautiful Rialto bridge and the infamous Jewish Ghetto.
After this beautiful walk, you’ll be ready for lunch! Hailed as “divine” and “outstanding”, Osteria La Zucca defines itself as innovative and modern, proposing only the freshest seasonal ingredients in every dish!
After lunch you’ll enjoy a free afternoon for strolling back to the hotel, shopping or just getting lost in the city’s splendor.
Dinner this evening will be a real treat! You’ll be dining in one of Venice’s most important and world-renowned restaurants, Harry’s Bar! Famous for creating not only the beloved Bellini but also beef carpaccio, and a special “club” sandwich, this restaurant is a classic MUST-SEE (and be seen in) location! Of course we’ll start with a round of Bellinis (Fresh white peach nectar with Prosecco), and take it from there…
Day 3
After a leisurely breakfast in the hotel, you’ll transfer by private boat to the island of glass, Murano. You’ll enjoy an up-close glass blowing demonstration by a Venetian glass master and his apprentice, as well as plenty of time for admiring, and shopping.
Lunch will be at Ai Vetrai. One of Murano’s most endearing restaurants, this is where the locals go! You’ll dine on simple dishes of amazing seafood, sublime pastas and the region’s best local wines.
After lunch you’ll transfer by private boat to Osteria da Fiore, one of Venice’s most lauded restaurants for a hands-on cooking class by the chef herself, Mara Martin. The class will focus on her modern specialties including fish, risotto and local desserts. The class will be followed by dinner of the delicious dishes you’ve prepared and local wine pairings.
Day 4
Check out and early morning return by private group water taxi to Venice Marco Polo Airport VCE for flights to the USA.
