Cuban Mojito
Bright citrus with a backdrop of cool mint - Cuba's signature drink and once a favorite of Hemingway, the mojito never fails to refresh.
Serves 1
Ingredients
- 3 fresh mint sprigs
- 2 tsp sugar
- 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1½ oz. light rum
- club soda
Procedure
Place mint leaves, sugar and lime juice in glass. Using a muddler, gently crush. Add crushed ice followed by rum then stir. Top with club soda. Garnish with a mint sprig and serve.
Twist: add fresh pineapple, papaya, mango or other fresh fruit.
