Teens 2-Day Break: Cooking Essentials

Unleash your teen's kitchen creativity with this special hands-on cooking camp designed just for them. For two days your teen will learn all about the wonders of the culinary world by mastering the basic techniques behind so many of our favorite foods. Working alongside other young chefs and our experienced instructors, junior cooks will learn kitchen basics like knife skills, grilling, roasting and stir-frying. First, we’ll show teens the fundamental cuts that are the foundation for every great chef. Then we’ll teach them the tips and techniques behind a variety of cooking methods, including how to grill, roast and stir-fry meats and vegetables.

*Please note: Participants must register for the entire series. Sorry, no single day enrollments.



What To Expect:

Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
  • Learn fundamental skills for a lifetime of great cooking
  • Work side-by-side with other students to prepare each dish
  • Interact with classmates and the instructor for a rich learning experience
  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student enjoys a generous taste of every dish
  • Held in our professional teaching kitchens, each class is led by an experienced chef instructor
