Kids 2-Day Break: Favorite Recipes

Ages 8-12
Learning the key techniques of cooking and baking is important for everyone—especially kids! This winter break, bring in your little chefs for our two-day culinary series filled with hands-on culinary exploration. Working side-by-side with our expert instructors and other young cooks, junior chefs will learn essential cooking and baking techniques as a foundation for a lifetime of fun and creativity in the kitchen. In addition to kitchen fundamentals like basic knife skills, how to follow recipes, measuring, mixing, and kitchen safety, we’ll show kids how to use an assortment of traditional kitchen tools and time-tested techniques from around the world. This winter share your love of cooking with your little one with an experience they’ll never forget.

What To Expect:

Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
  • Learn fundamental skills for a lifetime of great cooking
  • Work side-by-side with other students to prepare each dish
  • Interact with classmates and the instructor for a rich learning experience
  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student enjoys a generous taste of every dish
  • Held in our professional teaching kitchens, each class is led by an experienced chef instructor
