Teens 3-Day Spring Break Camp: Cooking Essentials
Unleash your teen's kitchen creativity with this special hands-on cooking camp designed just for them. For three days your teen will learn all about the wonders of the culinary world by mastering the basic techniques behind so many of our favorite foods. Working alongside other young chefs and our experienced instructors, junior cooks will learn kitchen basics like knife skills, grilling, roasting, stir-frying, baking and pastry making.
First, we’ll show teens the fundamental cuts that are the foundation for every great chef. Then we’ll teach them the tips and techniques behind a variety of cooking methods, including how to grill, roast and stir-fry meats and vegetables. Finally, on day three teens will cover baking and pastry essentials with a menu full of desserts any chef would love to add to his repertoire.
*Please note: Classes are about two hours a day for three days. Participants must register for the entire camp. No single day enrollments.
