"Smaller, Quieter and Easier than EVER!"
The new Vitamix Professional Series 750 Blender is undeniably the most powerful blender on the market.
Initially, I contemplated trading up to the PS750 from the original Vitamix because of the new space-saving changes that were made to allow the unit to fit under cabinet. However, what really sold me was the preprogrammed settings and the fact that the new unit is 40% quieter.
I tried both units side-by-side, and I would say that 40% is a conservative estimate
The pre-programmed settings allow the user to simply push the button and walk away without fear of over or under blending. it really takes the guess-work out of the process.
My favorite setting is the auto-clean button, which really does heat the soapy water and churn it until the unit is clean.
The old canister was more difficult to clean (smoothies), but the new canister is made from a very smooth BPA free material that allows foods to simply slide off.
Best upgrade I have made in a long time. Overall, the new Vitamix Professional 750 is fantastic

In love!
I have been wanting a vitamix for months and finally took the plunge. Soups and smoothies out of this are amazing. The texture and temperature are always perfect. The presets make it so easy, especially for soups so that I don't have to babysit the machine while making the rest of the meal. I love, love, love the cleaning function. So easy I wish everything in my kitchen cleaned itself. If you are on the fence just do it. You won't regret it

It's great. Period.
My other half says this is the best margarita maker out there. It's great for smoothies. It practically cleans itself. And it makes beautiful soups. Silky and piping hot. Because of the power, you barely need to cut up your ingredients. What a great way to make an easy first course!!! The accompanying book is great, and would easily sell for $50 on its own, it's not just the pamphlet that might come with some other machines. I've fielded a bunch of questions about the Vitamix from friends, and you absolutely must get one. And the only one to get is the 750 - between the stainless housing and the program modes, it's the best value Vitamix has to offer

Have a Vitamix and love it. Wanted them to have one as a wedding gift.

Are you selling recalled Vitamix 750's

Certain Vitamix 750's have been recalled because of a potential blade defect. Some sellers are still selling those items (Amazon for one). How can I be assured you won't see me one?
A shopper on Jan 2, 2014
Best Answer: Sur la Table posted a notice by the register that they pulled all affected Vitamixes, and directed customers who already bought a Vitamix to check the Vitamix website to determine if their model was affected. So, shouldn't be an issue if you're considering buying a 750. Just another reason to go with Sur la Table

What is finish of the Pro 750 Vitamix?

Williams Sonoma carries it in a gold sort of metal finish. Would prefer if it was silver/stainless.
A shopper on Dec 14, 2012
Best Answer: The ""brushed stainless"" finish on the the Vitamix 750 (1825) is plastic with a metallic silver paint. To be exact it has a nickel-plated PVC plastic housing

Looking at purchasing either the Vitamix 750 or the Kitchenaid Torrent Blender. If cost differential wasn't an issue which blender would you buy?
David E on Apr 28, 2015
Best Answer: I have no experience with the Torrent, which looks like a good machine. It looks like its selling point is ease of use combined with effectiveness. Yes, if you put a lot of solids into the vitamix you are going to need to tamp things down. However, its sheer power is utterly amazing. Plus, I really like the simplistic controls (less to break and malfunction) and I do prefer the more old-school look of the vitamix. Finally, I think the vitamix has simply a wider range of possibilities for use in the kitchen. It's not just about smoothies and icy drinks. So I guess it depends upon what you want. We are very happy with our vitamix, but we aren't making only smoothies and margaritas. We also make soups, nut butter, etc.

Why is this product more expensive on your site than it is on the Vitamix site?
Dakota on Oct 4, 2014
Best Answer: This was my first purchase from this company. They had the bill me later option which is now pay pal credit. Also I saw it cheaper on another website after I received the item. I called them and they match the price with not problem at all. I would order from this company again. BTW the Vitamix 750 is fantastic. Take Care

noisy?
A shopper on Aug 12, 2014
Best Answer: As are all blenders, yes, it's noisy. That being said, VitaMix created the motor in this model to be 40% quieter than the older models, which makes a significant difference.

What is the voltage? Can I use it outside US?
meenakshi g on Jan 23, 2015
Best Answer: The blender is designed for 110-120 volts, 60 Hz. If you are in Japan it will work ok on that power but slightly slower at 100-110 volts, 50 Hz.

In other countries you will need a 220-120 volt transformer rated for 8 amps input, 15 amps output. An electrician can help you with that, and the outlet for a standard USA three-prong plug.

Is the 'Create' cookbook in the box when purchasing Vitamix 750?

What all is in the box?
A shopper on May 23, 2013
Best Answer: This blender includes a cookbook full of chef-tested recipes, “Getting Started” guide, and an easy-to-follow DVD cooking class tutorial. Both the User Guide and the DVD are called "getting started-introductory recipes and tecniques PROFESSIONAL SERIES 300". In addition, there is an Owner's Guide, and the standard "Create" cookbook called "inspiring recipes for every day of the week".

Can you put this in the dishwasher?
Monica M Staff on Feb 11, 2015
Best Answer: The Owner's Manual does not recommend using a dishwasher to clean. It does have a clean setting that works fairly well if you use immediately after using the blender. If not, it washes very easily in the sink. I find it much easier to clean than my juicer or food processor. I would avoid a dishwasher because it may dull the blade--just like it would for sharp knives.

warranty info?
A shopper on Jun 29, 2015
Best Answer: Sur La Table offers 60 days to return or exchange any merchandise that isn't satisfactory or is faulty. Vitamix offers a 7 year warranty ( motor and carafe). If you have to go through Vitamix directly, they are awesome, helpful and especially great about any defects that your blender may posses.

Does this model also heat ingredients; ie., have a heating element
A shopper on Dec 7, 2013
Best Answer: This blender does not have a heating element, but it will heat ingredients, as it is the rotation of the blade and speed of the motor (1350 watts/ 2.2 horsepower) that produces the heat

Will the Blender containers from the 6300/500 work the 750?

Since this model is 1350 watts vs 1200 watts, does it still take the Vita-mix 6300/500 blender containers with no problem
A shopper on Apr 18, 2013
Best Answer: All currently available Vitamix containers are compatible with and can be used on the Pro 750, including the 32 oz. wet and dry containers as well as the 48 oz. container. However, it should be noted that the inverse does not hold true, e.g., the low-profile 64 oz. container with the 4 inch blade that comes with the Pro 750 should never be used on earlier Vitamix models
