A peeler likely to last...
Somehow I tend to be tough on vegetable peelers... or they tend to be tough on me. Yet a peeler is a necessary kitchen staple, a lot safer than using a paring knife, given my modicum of coordination.

This OXO peeler hints at being the exception to my previous peeler woes. No wimpy plastic construction here. Super solid grip. Sturdy metal blade mounting. Cleans easily. And seems to peel smoothly in fine even strips without removing more than just peel. Lumpy bumpy sweet potatoes proved slightly challenging but a huge plus is the wide, sturdy metal end that carves out potato-eyes especially well

Peeler Please!
I'm very pleased with this peeler as it is very easy to hold. Most peelers have a small narrow metal handle that is hard to hold and causes my hand to cramp if peeling a lot of vegis. OXO is ergonomic! Love their products.
