We don't drink coffee very often so buying a coffeemaker and having it sit on the counter doesn't make any sense. This saves space and I like that it's not plastic.

I like making my own coffee one cup at a time and this method is great for coffee connoisseurs.

How Many Scoops of Coffee Are Used?

Given the difference in sizes of cups between Europe and USA, I'd like to know how many scoops of coffee are used with the larger coffee cone for a full 16 oz of coffee? I prefer coffee that isn't so thin that you could swim in it
A shopper on Jun 16, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I LOVED this question because it gave me a chance to experiment, and I too like my coffee strong. I think I found perfect the formula, so let me tell you how I did so:First, I used a table spoon as my coffee scoop. Second, I used finely ground espresso roast beans. And third, I used water boiled in a kettle.Keeping all of those factors in mind, I used 3 tablespoons of coffee, and poured my 16 oz of boiled water in using slow, circular motions. The result was a coffee so dark that you could not see through it, but not so strong that it was bitter. It was robust and flavorful. I'm actually drinking it right now
Black Stoneware Coffee Cones

how many ounces in #2 and #4 cones?
A shopper on Jun 5, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The #2 cone holds 1 cup, or 8 oz.The #4 cone holds 2 cups, or 16 oz
How wide must the top of the mug be to accept the #4 filter?
Rose on Aug 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Wider than the average 12 oz mug, unfortunately. There is a ridge on the bottom of the cone which measures ~3 inches to the inside and 3.375 into the outside. It should work fine with cups and bowls with an inside diameter greater than 3.375. I bought six of these to use in a commercial pourover station, so I can drip into an appropriate sized container and the cones only need to fit onto a stand which I will build. They work fine with larger more bowl like coffee cups, but while they can be used with normal coffee mugs, they are a bit tippy!
How many holes in the bottom?

I have two plastic cones, one with 4 holes and one with only one small hole. How many holes are in the bottom of these cones? The coffee comes out stronger with the one small hole and I like it better
A shopper on Feb 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The #4 filter has 4 holes. The #2 filter has 3 holes
#2 measurements

For the #2 size, what is the dimension of the part that sits on top of the cup? Will this fit across a mug with a 3 1/2"" diameter
A shopper on Jan 13, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This filter is 4 1/2"" in diameter at the base. Yes, it will fit over a mug that's 3 1/2""
Where are these coffee cones made?

I would like to know what country these are made in.
A shopper on Nov 3, 2013
BEST ANSWER: These cones are made in China.
