Scanpan IQ Nonstick Saucepans
PATENTED NONSTICK CONSTRUCTION
Unlike most nonstick cookware, which relies on a coating, Green Tek™ nonstick cooking surface is created by firing a ceramic-titanium compound into the pan at 36,000°F and twice the speed of sound. The ceramic-titanium particles briefly liquefy and permanently anchor themselves to the pan. A specially formulated nonstick compound is then embedded in the surface, ensuring a lifetime of use without peeling or interacting with food.
SUPERIOR DESIGN FOR EXPERT RESULTS

The saucepan itself is lovely to use. The sloping sides make it easy to stack and to get food out of, and the nonstick coating works well. Like all nonstick pans you have to be slightly careful; for instance you cannot leave food in it overnight. But the older one remains unmarked and effective, and I have no doubt this one will too. A modicum of care is needed, doing things like letting it cool on the stove and then washing carefully, but those things are easy and common to all decent pans, especially nonstick. The coating appears particularly rugged for its type.
The saucepan works particularly well on an induction stove, which is one of the things we needed. It heats up quickly and the sides transfer heat well
