Beautiful ladle - many compliments
I get it - it's a $60 ladle. It's a bit pricy. Does it ladle any better than any other ladles? Not particularly. But does it ladle while looking any better? Oh yes. Much much much better.

Seriously, this ladle (really, all of the Berard Olivewood utensils) is shockingly nice looking. We have a full assortment of all of the utensils and constantly get compliments from guests on how beautiful they are.

We've only had them for a few months now but I'm positive they'll last a very long time and maintain their great looks throughout their lifetime.

Just remember to handwash and dry! Also, a little Boos oil helps from drying out and cracking :

Beautiful AND Useful!
I bought this rather pricey ladle to add to my extensive collection of olivewood cooking utensils & other kitchen pieces. I love the beautiful grain in olive wood, & with hand washing these pieces remain in beautiful condition for a lifetime. I keep the utensils in a large container on the counter, since they're much to pretty to hide away in a drawer. They constantly draw compliments from family & guests

I need large cooking utinsels. This looks to be a beautifully made spoon made in France. If this is not made in France as advertised or if it is not "Gerard" but instead a knock-off, I will return it.
