Overall great cookware - BUT one issue...
I purchased a 2 qt saucepan, a 3.5 qt saucepan and a 2 qt chef's pan (or was it 2.5 qt) in this line. The 3.5 qt saucepan and the chef's pan are absolutely marvelous - on par with All Clad. I did have a problem with the 2 qt. saucepan, however. I tried a total of 3 of them and found that not a single one sat flat. you could push the handle slightly with one finger and the pot would spin all the way around as if it was on a pivot. I called customer service about this and they investigated. Their conclusion was that every single 2 qt. saucepan they tested had the same problem.
I ended up returning the 2 qt pan, but am loving the other sizes I bought. Now that they are on sale again I'm considering ordering more

Love These Pans
I bought the 1.5 qt, 2 qt & 3.5 qt so this review is for all three. I spent several weeks researching 3, 5 and 7 ply cookware before deciding to buy these pans because I wanted something that would last at least as long as my last set of 3-ply (30 years). The ONLY reason I gave these pans four stars instead of five is that they are made in China. I would have preferred pans made in America, but those all had breakable features and were (in my opinion) outrageously overpriced. That said, these pans are beautiful, the heat distribution is perfect and clean-up is easy. There are no non-metal parts to break and no screws to work loose over time. The lid handles are perfectly designed for slipping over the pan handles for hanging pan and lid together or for stacking if your pan drawer is large enough to accommodate the pans without nesting.

NO HOT SPOTS! The inner, aluminum layer pulls the heat up the sides of the pan so you get even heat distribution throughout cooking instead of heating only the bottom. This means that for most dishes you don't have to stand over the pot stirring to keep the food at the bottom from scorching. Also, less heat is required to maintain an even simmer. The outer stainless steel layers are lovely and clean up easily. The pan handles stay cool enough during cooking to move the pans without pot holders. However, the lid handles do get pretty hot (they are metal after all) so be careful with those.

Overall, these pans are everything I wanted, perform as expected and I will definitely purchase other sizes

Great value
I love All Clad, but was having a hard time justifying the cost for this size pot. This is the first time I've purchased Sur la Table cookware, but it's been fabulous. I'll definitely buy other pieces in the future

Well made pots...
Bought this pot along with the 1.5Q to complete my set of tri-pli pots. My other pots are All Clad and therefore significantly more expensive but I would say the overall quality is very comparable. I am very happy with these pots and now I have a sufficient number of pots to cook a large meal.

Can't Go Wrong With This Pan
This is a heavy, very well-made fully clad saucepan with good balance, a comfortable handle and a tight-fitting lid. The loop handle on the lid is large and easy to grasp. Rolled rims make pouring easy.

A helper handle on the pan would be a nice touch

Great product at a great price
I bought it for my daughter who was considering either this pan or one from Allclad ($80 more expensive).
She can't praise the pan enough. Supposedly it is the best pan she ever had

Great pans for the price!
My old pans had an aluminum base which provided inconsistent and slow heating. The aluminum core design of the Tri Ply pans cook faster and more evenly than less expensive aluminum disc base models.

The spouted lip on the pans adds ease to pouring so sauces and soups end up in the bowl and not dripping over the counter

Love SLT saucepan!
I am completely happy with this saucepan. I have the two-in-one pan/skillet from Le Creuset, which I love, but of course, it's heavy. I have serious arthritis in my hands and wrists, and I appreciate being able to use a quality pan that is lightweight, yet durable with even heat-distribution--and pretty. It's perfect for rice, quinoa, couscous, soups, and it's my most often-used size (though I have larger pans from this series). I don't like that it is made in China, but otherwise, I am 100% happy.

Adding to a set
Glad to have this additional pan for my previously purchased set. With a family of 6 we often have a dishwasher full while needing to continue cooking. Pleased with my purchase. Love my Sur La Table products!
