A GREAT little tree for a great price!
My sister wanted a topiary in her kitchen for her birthday. I looked all over the web trying to find a Rosemary topiary for a good price. I ordered this one for her, hoping it would arrive healthy & be pretty.
Honestly, I didn't expect it to be very tall or nice because it's so inexpensive.
The little tree arrived at her house Wednesday. I got a very excited text from her telling me it was beautiful and smelled incredible.
She's very very happy! I am too because now I know where to get a great gift ( for others and myself!) for $29! Thank you!
Rosemary smells like Heaven!

I chose this Topiary Tree because Sur la Table always has quality items and I am hoping this tree will last a long time. I love to cook and use ALOT of Rosemary. The tree seems like a good value also. And a bonus, it will help my kitchen smell nice and it looks nice too.

Will it survive the elements if planted outside in zone 5 ? jthtjb01 ne 5???
A shopper on Mar 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No. Rosemary trees are best suited for zones 6 through 9.
Height of tree

The tree I'm interested in say's it's 16"" tall. Does that mean from the top of the bot where it's planted to the top of the tree
A shopper on Apr 15, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The tree itself is approximately 16"" from the top of the tree to the pot where it is planted. The pot is about 6 1/2"" tall so the total height is approximately 22 1/2""
I would like to order a tree But live in Michigan and the temps are Cold would the Tree be wrapped to protect it from the elements before being shipped?
Alan P on Nov 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: My Rosemary tree came in a cardboard box & wrapped in tissue paper. Rosemary is a hearty herb. In fact I have some Rosemary in a planter outside here in Illinois. We have had a first snow storm & my outside Rosemary is still good. I love my new inside Rosemary which I use for cooking & scent.
How will I know when it's time to change pots as the tree grows? And can you provide pots sizes and time frame, thank you.
ALVARO E on Jul 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You'll know when it's time to transplant to a new pot when you can see the roots of the tree sticking out of the top or the bottom of the pot. Because all trees grow differently, there aren't time tables or suggestions for the size of the pot.
If I plant it in the ground, how tall it will grow?
A shopper on Sep 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This Rosemary is grown in a pot & normally will top out around 3'. They don't typically get much bigger. Normally the heads get bigger & the trunk will get larger with age too. It is not recommend to place it in the ground unless it has been acclimated.
Could the plant stay in the pot it's sent in or does the plant need to go in a larger pot?
A shopper on Apr 9, 2013
BEST ANSWER: If you wish to keep this as a small patio tree, then it can remain in its original pot. If you want it to grow larger, you will need to change pots over time
