This hand-harvested sea salt from the Gulf of Alaska is a wonderful addition to your recipes. Alaska Pure Sea Salt Co. started one morning in April of 2000 on the wood stove of a remote Alaska cabin during a first-anniversary camping trip.

The founders awakened to find salt forming in a pot of seawater left simmering and were intrigued. Every April they return to make “Anniversary” salt for next year’s use in their kitchen.

By 2007, after extensive trial and error, many marital spats and a rusted stainless steel range hood, they refined their process. Alaska Pure Sea Salt is created with a passion for wild places, pristine water and great food. The founders hope you enjoy their salt with as much enthusiasm as they have for producing it. 4 oz.
