Produce perfectly flat, ready-to-fill pie crusts with this 10-foot-long string of stainless-steel pie weights. They’re easy to use—simply coil in the bottom of an unfilled pie shell and bake; remove after baking. Hand wash.
This idea for pie weights is good. There are no loose 'beads' to gather, washing is quick, and I store mine in a former spice jar which is very tidy. But do yourself a favor and go buy a couple of feet of the same stuff at a good hardware store. You'll save a LOT
