Slicing strawberries for shortcake or mushrooms for a stir-fry? A mountain of strawberries or bowl of creminis can be a little daunting. Cut slicing time down to mere minutes with the OXO Good Grips slicer.

Ideal for slicing a variety of small food items such as mushrooms, strawberries, bananas, roasted beets, eggs, kiwis, grapes, cheese, cold butter and more, the handheld slicer creates perfectly uniform 5mm pieces with 10 sharp stainless steel blades.

Fingers stay out of the way of blades for safe and secure slicing directly over your bowl, pan or pie plate. Simply load in desired food and squeeze the soft, comfortable, non-slip handle for swift, one-handed slicing. For firmer items, press closed with a second hand on the front comfort grip. The slicer stores conveniently and safely with a unique locking handle. Slices directly over bowl or plate, eliminating the need for a cutting board.

Great strawberry slicer
This product is very strong and is only item I have found that slices through strawberries.

get a good egg slicer instead
I bought this for slicing potatoes so I could make uniform fries. I had read in a magazine article that it would be good for that. Even after inverting the slicer and pushing on it, there was no way this sliced anything beyond an egg or a strawberry. If you have a good egg slicer with the wires, it is as good as this bulky thing
