Great Value & Design
Was looking to replace a well known brand of hard anodized and nonstick skillets that did not hold up well. After comparing all major brands of the Try-Ply in the store I decided to go with the SLT two skillet set. Cannot beat the price and the $10 off coupon from catalog. Used the 10 inch several times for searing fish and meats. Like the feel, look and the handle stays cool too. Notice an improvement in the way food sears over the hard anodized. Went back and picked up the 12 inch Try-Ply and gave away my hard anodized

Good Quality
The pans are of good quality. I have used the smaller pan - non stick and it is the best pan I have ever used for a non stick. I'm a fan of stainless steel and can't wait to use the 10' skillet. SLT has great products. Thank you.

Heats evenly; non-stick seems to work well too
I got this set because I am switching to induction cooking. I am very pleased with the 10" frypan - heats evenly and reponds well to changes in temp. It can go under the broiler as well.

The little 8" non-stick pan also responds well and food doesn't stick to it. I was surprised by the texture of the non-stick surface. It is not at all slick, but rather kind of rough. It seems to work just fine though, but I wonder how long the the surface will hold up. I've mostly used this pan for cooking eggs.

Every kitchen needs this set
High quality pans and I have added stainless back into my kitchen gear after a bad experience in the past. This one is awesome - made my sauteed green beans taste way better than usual. The non-stick is good, but I tried no oil/ butter and that didn't work on eggs, so I still have to use some (that's fine, I like the butter taste anyway). Both heat up faster and higher (I have a gas burner) than my old (cheapie) pans so I think these are going to be with me for a long time.

Use them every day!
The non-stick pan is my new favorite! I'm a novice cook and have to say, this is making the process so much easier!! I've only used the skillet a couple of times but plan to enjoy that too! Love Sur La Table!

Can these skillets be used on an Induction stovetop?
A shopper on Jan 26, 2016
Best Answer: This is a standard stainess steel pan I believe, and it is used on both electric and gas stoves.I would guess that you could use it on an induction stove but I have never used one so I don't really know. If I were you I would check with manufacturer of the stove to find out what are the approved types of cookware.
