Fantastic
Absolutely fabulous! Works really well which was a nice surprise. I was skeptical, but followed the directions and the omelette turned out perfectly! It looked great and tasted great. I wondered if it would cook all the way through and it did without a problem. Love it!

Love this Product
Wow! I haven't been one for gadgets or ""
one trick ponies,"" but this is an excellent buy. Makes terrific and fluffy omelettes easily. Even caramelizes the veggies first, if you follow the directions

Amazing!
I wanted something easy to use when we are camping in the trailer. It was extremely easy to make an omelet with this product. I really had no expectations as the how the omelet might taste. This is where I was pleasantly surprised. It made the fluffiest omelet I've ever had! And the center is done to perfection. And the taste was wonderful. I made the first recipe, with the garlic and onion, and it was wonderful. When I think of vegetables and the microwave, I always think ""steam"". But these veggies were not steamed; they tasted like they were sauteed and almost caramelized. Great gift idea

Perfect Omelettes are easy.......
I've always made a lot of omelettes and was a bit skeptical about how well this product would actually work. No worries here! It makes fluffy, tasty omelettes in 5 minutes or less depending on the veggies you include. While you don't get any browning with this product, my veggies and eggs are always cooked to perfection with easy clean up and no pans to clean. This is the perfect thing for work and home. I'm in LOVE with this thing! I'm glad I bought the steamer case as well and will be buying these for gifts too

Perfect Omelet
Could never make a great omelet until now. This is an awesome omelet maker. The only thing to be careful is the cooking time will very depending on the fillings you put in the omelet. If after cooking for the recommended time and the omelet looks runny, leave it the case and continue cooking for a few extra seconds. Overall, every omelet that is made will always be the perfect omelet

Finally!
I can actually make an omelet now. Quick, easy, and tasty. No more slaving over a stove top trying to get the eggs done evenly to fold over

Easy and delicious weekday breakfasts
I was really dubious about this product, I never thought eggs cooked in a microwave would be an anything other than rubbery and awful. However, I saw so many positive reviews that I decided to give this a try. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and fluffy my eggs came out with this. I don't have much time in the morning to make breakfast, so this is a great solution. I sautéed up some onions and mushrooms in advance to have ready for the week, and cut up some bell pepper and tomato. In the morning all I do is dump one egg and some egg whites into a container with my veggies and I can tote this to work and have a hot and fluffy omelet at my desk with zero added fat (I omit the oil they suggest). Best purchase in a long time!

A great substitute for a pan
This is one of three Lekue items. I actually bought it so that my son could make himself some breakfast without having to use the stove. For that, it's a great way to introduce kids to cooking in the kitchen. (Start with the microwave!)

It is really a no-brainer item. Mix your eggs, add your seasonings, pour it in. Cook it. As with all Lekue products, you may have to practice one or twice with the power and the time on your microwave.

One note: Do not overfill! You'll want to fill it up to the rim, but that's not a good idea. If you fill the omelet maker too much, the eggs will puff up to the point that the whole thing will pop open. :)

Best Ever Omelet Maker
This omelet maker is so easy to use and easy to clean. I wipe some oil olive in the device with a paper towel. Every omelet is perfect. Suggest you buy some cooking tongs to flip the device over during the cooking cycle. Highly recommend feta cheese, roasted tomatoes with garlic in your omelet

Love This Omelet Maker!
This omelet maker tempts me to make omelets when my plan has been to make something else, because it is so easy, and the results are so tasty! We try to keep our egg eating somewhat minimal because of the cholesterol.

I use the recipes as a guide, as I want less oil than the 2 Tbsp. called for; contents depend on what's on hand. Diced asparagus and red bell pepper, with a sprinkling of grated sharp cheddar cheese is one of our favorites!

Also, my microwave veggie and omelet cooking times are considerably less than what's called for. Start with less, check, and add more if needed. The flip times have been a bit longer, as It seems to make for more even cooking.

I use a tsp. of oil, cook the veggies for 2 omelets together, reserve half (for the second omelet), then proceed with the first. You can whisk the eggs for both, at the same time also, but you have to be careful to measure/pour evenly for equal omelets. I use one Tbsp. of milk for a two egg omelet, and it works fine.

I do"" flip"" the finished veggies (which always cover the bottom of half of the ""maker""-- I don't measure--just guesstimate) over a couple of times before removing half to get the oil distributed, and have never had problems with sticking, except for a tiny spot of cheese.

The second omelet always takes a bit longer, I think because the veggies, etc. have cooled a bit, although the egg volume may vary slightly, also.

Because I add cheese and low sodium salsa, I don""t add salt, and we don""t miss it. I want to mix fresh, chunky salsa into the omelets, but keep forgetting.

I slide the omelets onto x-large heated corn tortillas with a couple Tbsp. of the salsa, fold them up, and we really enjoy them

Great Little Omelet Maker!
I love my omelet maker, it's so easy to use and makes fluffy omelets. I have the frittata maker too and I love them both! Just remember to use 50% power for the microwave. Highly recommend it.

Love it
My husband loves omelets and I am not very good with cooking on stove so when I tried this omelet maker it worked perfect. Love it . I experiment with different foods. I have a Panasonic inverter microwave and I use the sensor cook for omelets. It is exact time required.
Eliminated messy pans. I could not be more please with the simplicity of making omelets.
Plus it is BPA free. Easy to clean also. I do not put in dishwasher. I wash by hand. easie

Rubbery eggs that stick
I thought I'd save time with this product. Since I bought it, Sur la Table has updated the description to state it takes five minutes to cook. You also need to flip the container a few times and, since the eggs are still liquid, it's easy to spill them. Ultimately though you end up with rubbery eggs that stick to the silicon container. Yes, I know it's not supposed to stick but they do. I've gone back to a pan. It's easier and the eggs taste better. I love Sur la Table but this is one product they need to ditch

Love LEKUE products
I was a little nervous the 1st time I flipped the omelet, but no problem, it is super easy to make delicious, healthy omelets now. Sometimes I cook some bacon ahead of time, or some veggies, so I can make a last minute omelette even quicker. My microwave is 1200 watts so I cook at power 5, but keep the time the same. We sometimes add a splash of aged red vinegar before eating. No sticking problem

Very worthwhile purchase
This is a great product. I've made a very good omelette for a long time but since buying this I make them much more often. Easy to use and great results. Definitely healthier. After reading a couple of the negative reviews, I think perhaps basic directions were ignored.

I thought it was a great fast way to do breakfast in the morning, however I did not like the way the eggs turned out. The instructions were not clear. I would not recommend this product. I bought several of the other items by this vendor and have not used them yet.

Spills right out while making it so it's not easy
I bought this because it is made of silicone which is supposed to be healthier than non-stick pans and we all know how eggs stick to regular All-Clad type pans. So I mixed up my 2 eggs (just eggs) and put them into one side and the whole thing moves around so much that the eggs spill out onto the counter. Then you clean up your mess and put it on a plate to get in the microwave because it will again keep spilling even after you close it up. It stops spilling once cooked of course, but I have raw eggs all over my kitchen at this point. So it's not easy if I have to clean up an additional mess. I am going to try one egg, but as soon as I add anything to this then it's going to spill again. I just don't see the point.

How many lg. eggs (+ ""fixin's"") will this hold, for an omlette? Would it be large enough to divide in half for 2 mod. hungry adults
A shopper on Jun 23, 2013
Best Answer: Each recipe in the included booklet calls for 2 egs and aroiund 1 cup of vegetables. I doubt that one serving would be enough to feed 2 people.

Can I add cheese without it being grated? Want that Cheesy layer or sections in my omelet.

Also, it is important to adjust the microwave time to suit your watts
A shopper on Jun 25, 2013
Best Answer: All of the enclosed recipes call for grated or shredded cheese. I imagine that any other form of cheese is not suggested because it would fall to the bottom of the omelet maker and adhere to it.

I dont use microwave.....so how would I make this in an oven using this omelet maker?
CAROL S on Jul 27, 2015
Best Answer: Carol, I don't think you can. I think it would melt in a regular oven. It does a very good job in the microwave, though. LInda
