Purchased this in the spring, due to horrible weather, we just now were able to use it for the 1st time, and we LOVE IT!!!
We used it on the grill & it worked beautifully. My college son who is home on break was tweaking the ways of making the pizzas. Purchased the store-bought pizza crusts, rolled them on the baking stones, added numerous additions, like sesame seeds, garlic & butter, barbeque sauce, to the crust, them piled on the toppings & baked on the gas grill.
Total baking time was about 20 min.
What an easy meal to make on the grill.

My husband got these for Father's Day. He works in close association with the pizza industry, so he knows good equipment. He loved them!!! If your pizza sticks to the stone, here are a couple of hints...preheat the stone and dust it with corn meal. Removing cooked pizza from the stone with a thin metal spatula or pizza peel also helps. We are now eating pizza at least once a week and have tried some great combos with fresh local produce!
I have used this set five times now and now prefer pizza on the grill to that from the stove. No floppy crust and everyone can have their own personal pizza. A little practice made it very easy. Follow the directions for heating the stones. Be generous with corn meal put on heated stones just before adding the pizza to prevent sticking. And do not make the pizza too big or the lid will stick to the crust. I will never order pizza delivery again.
I saw these in the new catalog and went out the next day to get them. That night, we had pizza and I have to say, these are going to make baking pizza in the oven almost obsolete. I'm going to get two more sets so that I can make 6 personal pizzas at the same time and don't have to stagger the cooking. I'm wondering how the domes would work on a flat top grill? That's my next experiment
I bought this pizza set in the store to make small individual pizzas for my kids...actually ordered another set online so all four of us can have our own small pizzas made the way we each like them.
It worked as I expected and cooking pizza on the grill with the dome cover made the smoky flavor stronger...I used hickory chips. I would recommend this set...I especially recommend cooking pizza on the grill...tastes better than from the oven
Recently purchased a set. They work great, especially for the Boboli mini-crusts. I'm ordering another set as soon as I stop typing this. Daughter is visiting in July so there will be three to feed and I'm not waiting for MY pizza
These stones are too small for any practical use. Pizza dough fell off during baking. Impossible to get stone out of oven. Total waste of money. I wish I had bought a larger stone and then used it for a smaller pizza. The pizza pictured on pizza is deceiving and would equal about two bites.
I want to try different types of pizza that offer healthier options. I find that my children are a little more willing to eat vegetables when they are on pizza so this will allow me to be creative with my veggie choices. Plus I love pizza!
I have been looking for something to make smaller pizzas and breads on the grill. These looked like the perfect solution. The sale price made it a no brainer to purchase. Since I use my grill year round I'm looking forward to using these soon.

Best Answer:They are designed for BBQ grills and the temps are usually the same as an oven or hotter due to direct flame. As I bought them as a gift I haven't had any feedback yet. Not sure if that will give you enough information. Pizza in an oven usually cooks at approx. 350-375'. : )
