Great gadget!
This corn stripper really works well and makes a tedious job much easier. The only issue (and the reason I didn't rate this a five star) is that it only works on relatively thin ears of corn. I wish that it had a larger circumference to accommodate the large ears of corn that we love in the summer. Picking medium to small ears of corn for stripping is one more step when selecting ears of corn. I would like to see this gadget adjustable or come in different sizes. Otherwise a great kitchen tool!

Shocked at how well this works!
I have tried many different types of gadgets to strip corn. Knifes slip and aren't safe and corn generally goes flying everywhere. This one worked far better than I expected. It works best with medium sized ears- it won't turn all the way to the bottom of the ear with the larger ones which is why I gave only 4 stars. Still, it is only an inch or so at the bottom which is easy to slice off safely with a knife. I highly recommend this product
