The color is a true graphite, it does not have that olive/greenish hue like in the photo.

Love It!
It took me a while to decide on which dutch oven I really wanted, but I am glad that I went with a Staub! It is a good heavy weight and once it gets hot it stays hot and cooks evenly. Also I really like that it has the spikes for the continuous basting. I almost wish that I had gotten a smaller version because I am usually cooking for two, but this size is perfect for a whole chicken or if I have company or am cooking a rosy or something larger. Oh, and mine is the 5 3/4 quart.

What are the dimensions of the two sizes?

Best Answer: 4 1/4-Quart: 11 3/4” x 9 3/4” x 4 1/2” high, 4 1/4-qt. cap., 12 lb. 12 oz. with lid.
5 3/4-Quart: 14 3/4" x 11 1/2" x 6 1/4" high, 14lbs 3oz. with lid.

Is this a round or oval pot? I cannot tell by the picture.

Best Answer: Is Oval, and comes with two handles....the Rooster, and a standard chrome knob handle.
Graphite is beautiful.
