I need a pan that I can cook on stovetop and then finish in the oven/ broiler. I have Staub grill pan, and although a bit weighty, it really is great!

I read about the great quality of Staub pans and wanted to own one. We are using this to replace a damaged non stick pan.

what is the actual diameter of the cooking area of the Staub 10" basil skillet?
bob s on Dec 15, 2014
Best Answer: Let me guess:

It fits easily 2-3 500OZ Filet-Mignon or alternately 2-3 Tuna-Fish Steaks or 2 New York trip steaks or boneless rib eye Steaks

I’m thinking the diameter, a head scratcher for sure, must be surely around 10’’-12’’.

Bon Apettit….
