Staub- Is a must to use wood or .. utensils?

BEST ANSWER: I have two of these pans in different sizes. I do use metal tongs with them and a flat wire whisk for making a sauce after roasting and have had no issues. I don't use the utensils hard on the pan but I do feel that this surface can handle the light use.
Does this have the honeycomb base on the interior and self-basting spikes?
