Perfect
Only one complaint. I wish they were numbered or the size marked on them. I want give some but have to measure mine to figure if it is 3/4qt or 1 qt. However it is the perfect size for doing a chicken breast and for re heating things in the oven rather than the microwave. Works great.

I saw it in your catelogue, love Staub products and liked the price.

I have the larger oval roasting dish and love it. I wanted the smaller one quart for smaller dishes serving fewer people. Perfect for gratins, roasted veggies, smaller entrees, and cobblers.

do you need to season the pan?

Best Answer: No! I used it immediately after opening it and made a roast chicken. It was fabulous! Highly recommend the pan--and Sur la Table.

Is this item safe to use on a gas stovetop?
A shopper on Dec 29, 2015
Best Answer: The base has a smooth enameled finish so, even though heavy, it should not be a scratching danger anymore than any other cookware. It is heavy, so care to avoid a drop is advised as with any metal cookware and glass.

Can you use this under the broiler?
A shopper on Nov 9, 2015
Best Answer: Definitely! This can be used under the broiler. Cleans up like a dream too, much to my surprise.
