1 - when they say hand wash, do not take this lightly; one turn in the dishwasher will do serious harm.
2 - they will eventually wear out, and I've never found a silplat mat that didn't. do not sweat this; I get about 30 months from mine before replacing them... less than a dollar per month, I'll take that deal

Good for baking.
Nothing sticks to them.
Easy clean up.
Dry with dish rag .
Good for rolling out pastry as well.

There seems to be two sizes that are relatively close. Is this the Half Sheet size or does the 11"" x 17"" fit better
If you use these in the oven, will it allow the food to get crispy? Or will it promote sogginess
The cost is for 1 mat.
Are the corners on these pointed or are they the traditional corners that silpat usually has where they are cut off?The picture shows both
