The Pro 750 is the Cream of the Crop
I have owned this machine for several months now. In my opinion, the Pro 750 is the best machine Vitamix has made to date.

The 5 presets are a handy feature. I especially enjoy having the frozen dessert setting. The 2.2 HP motor blends faster than ever before, and the new longer 4"" blade assembly makes quick work of all chopping and blending jobs. The new shorter wider-bottomed 64 oz. container makes it easy to remove all the container's contents, including nut butters.

I would like to point out one thing... contrary to the information provided in this site's description of the Pro 750, the Vitamix container should NEVER be placed in the dishwasher. The following is a direct quote from the FAQ page on the Vitamix web site under ""How should I clean my Vitamix container"":

https://www.vitamix.com/Owners-Resources/Product-Support/FAQs

""We do not recommend placing the container or lid into the dishwasher as this may harm its components. Cleaning instructions can also be found in your Owners Manual.""

The Vitamix easily cleans itself simply by placing a drop of liquid dish soap in the container, adding warm water, and then selecting the cleaning preset. The machine will turn off when it finishes the cleaning cycle. Just rinse the soap out of the container, wipe dry and you're done. (You don't even have to wipe the container dry but I always do.

Best purchase ever!
I've wanted a Vitamix for over a year and finally decided it was time. I am in love! I use it at least once a day to make green smoothies, soups, dips (the best hummus ever, salsa and guac). I can't wait to try new recipes! Also, the appearance is much better than older models. It looks great in my modern kitchen.

What are the differences between the Dry-Grain container and the 32 Dry Container?

Vitamix Blenders items
pollo on May 14, 2014
Best Answer: The 32oz carafe is a blender carafe. It's just a smaller version of the original made for wet items. Only the one labeled Dry Blade Container is made specifically for dry grains.

I see there is a special offer on the Vitamix 750 that one can get the dry container for $50. On several other vendor sites one can select the dry, the 32 or 48 wet. Will you be offering the 32 or 48 also or are you limited to the dry? I really don't want a dry one. Thank you.
A shopper on Oct 20, 2014
Best Answer: We typically only offer this deal with the dry grains container.

Sylvain Perreault on Nov 3, 2014
Best Answer: At this time, we are unable to process international orders placed over the web or over the phone. Our international shipping charges are determined by the destination of the items and the dimensional weight of the box, and do not include any taxes or duty that may be applied upon reaching their destination. We do need a credit card with a United States billing address, otherwise a money order in U.S. funds must be sent for the amount of the order. Please note that tariffs, customs, and/or duties may be due upon delivery of your package. These additional charges are the responsibility of the package recipient.

How long to actually heat the soup?

When using the soup preset, I'm assuming it actually heats the soup. Correct? And does it heat the soup in the short time it takes to blend all the ingredients
JanL123 on May 19, 2014
Best Answer: That's correct. When you use the soup setting, it heats the soup while blending the ingredients. It comes out steaming hot, so use caution when pouring
