Why did you choose this?
Sur La Table Store
I'm throwing a brunch baby shower with a waffle bar and these bowls will be perfect to serve the sides in, like strawberries and chocolate chips!

The large bowl is perfect for reasonable portions of desserts. The angled look frames the food, whether a scoop of ice cream with fresh fruit or morning bread pudding with a bit of maple syrup. It is all in the presentation!

Is this Blanc dishes lead-free?
and what company does make this dinnerware?

Thanks.
J M on Sep 12, 2015
Best Answer: The bowls are "Everyday Porcelain by Sur la table / Made in China." U.S. Production standards are that serveware for food is lead free. As a Sur la table product, I would presume the bowls follow industry standards since they are not marked otherwise.

I have the smallest, which I use for sauces and dips, and the largest, which we use for ice cream and desserts in reasonable portions. I use them almost everyday!

Where is the slanted white soup bowl with the curly-cue in the photo with the shrimp bisque??
Linda S on Nov 4, 2015
Best Answer: Linda, I am not sure where the picture you referenced is, but I have the 4.5" bowls (8 oz.) for a variety of serving uses. It will hold 2/3 to 3/4 Cup of liquid. I have used it for cream soups with garnishes, desserts (looks great with lots of whip cream) and even oatmeal (topped with whip cream and brown sugar!). It really depends on your serving sizes as to how well it will fit in to your entertaining routine. The next bowl size up is a 7' bowl, and that is a full size bowl. The larger bowl would look great also on the table, I am sure. I also have a few of the 2.5 oz. size for small servings - a few mints or a bit of dressing/dip for late night veggie snacks. I hope this helps you.
