Happy I bought this roaster
I was debating between this one and the All Clad roaster, and I'm so happy I went with Mauviel . What really sold me was the fact that this one is 5-ply and made in France. My gravy is going to cook so quickly on the stove top this year

Best Roasting Pan Out There!
Wow! I used this to make roast chicken and it came out perfectly. This roasting pan is a generous size and comes with a non-stick rack. I love the over-sized handles because the make it really easy to take this pan in and out of the oven.

I roasted the chicken over some onions and potatoes and the vegetables came out beautifully caramelized. After roasting, I put the pan directly on the stovetop to make a pan gravy and it performed perfectly with no burned spots! Cleanup was so easy as well, the pan has a matte stainless interior that cleans much easier than my old All Clad pan.

Fantastic roaster! Will use for Thanksgiving & Christmas for sure!

Great French Made Roaster
I bought this roaster on sale last year pre- Thanksgiving. Very pleased with the quality. I like to follow the traditional method of making gravy in the pan to take advantage of the fond. My only concern was whether the bottom might be a little thin for the stove top. No problem. It's actually quite substantial. Not a saut? pan of course, but handles medium heat on a gas stove just fine.

I look for alternatives to made in China products, but usually expect to pay more for American or European items. I don't remember the exact price I paid, but would not hesitate to purchase again at the regular price. At $139 its a bargain

A beautiful addition to your Thanksgiving table!
I bought the beautiful Mauviel M?collection de Cuisine Roasting Pan as a pre-Thanksgiving gift to myself; my old roasting pan was a years-old, slightly rusted doorbuster that sorely needed replacing. I looked at both the stainless steel and copper versions, and decided on the brushed stainless steel one due to ease of maintenance.

The old-world quality (like other Mauviel products, this is made in France) will not only stand up to your heaviest baking, but also looks great on the table. It also has a manufacturer's lifetime warranty.

The five-ply construction (this roaster is 1_mm thick) means that the roaster heats evenly and retains heat well out of the oven. I love the large sturdy handles for moving the pan in and out of the oven. The included rack and kitchen towel only add to the value

Nice Roasting Pan but ...
I ordered this pan on line after reading the measurements in the specifications and measuring my ovens. I have European size double ovens and they are pretty small by our standards. Nevertheless the pan size stated was 16"" x 12"" and that would fit comfortably in my ovens. When the pan arrived I immediately tested the fit and then measured the pan. The pan is larger than stated and will not fit in my oven. I love Mauviel products and was looking forward to having this piece but alas it must be returned

"nice looking, but not for me"
I use Demeyere cookware so I thought I would
try a Mauviel product since they are often compared.
Although the roasting pan is nice looking, I am disappointed with the product in general. The pan is quite large, and unless you are roasting a very large bird or roast, the juices will burn on the bottom of the roasting pan. I find it useless unless you are cooking for a large number of people. Also, the pan does not clean up well. The large price tag on this product is not worth it to me. I'll stick with my Demeyere
