I love the fact that I can have three different timers on at one time! This is really helpful when I need to stir an item, say every 15 minutes or am baking several batches of cookies. This is easy to set up and easy to use. As a clock, however, it's not so good. It runs fast - despite changing batteries, etc. But, I do not use it for the clock - just for cooking
I was tired of relying on the microwave timer, and at times getting confused with the timer vs the clock as I run around the kitchen trying to get things done! I love the 3 timer feature although it takes a little getting used to. If you don't hit stop immediately when one of the timer button beeps, it starts counting upward. So it will tell you how many seconds longer you actually cooked your item above the original setting rather than just beeping and leaving you wondering. I think Ill get used to it! Sits nicely on counter, small enough to be out of the way
Five stars to OXO. The timer does count down and count up, has three timers that can all be operated at the same time and all have different beeps. Has a memory button, so you can type 2 minutes and then when it beeps press the memory button for another two minutes. I use this as a stirring reminder. If it does hit zero it will automatically count up and beep continously for 15 seconds, then every five seconds, or something like that, and then 15 seconds. So if you stepped away you can see how long it has been beeping. Plus the beep is loud but not annoying. Only thing I don't like is that when I press the bottom buttons it tilts forward. So I just got extra feet for the bottom, like the pads for the furniture.
This is the best timer on the market today. I have had one for over 5 years and it operates flawlessly. Therefore, I decided to buy 2 more as backups. The consumer never knows when an item may be discontinued.
This looks like an excellent choice of timers for this time of year when you know you are having multiple items cooking at the same time. This is fantastic. I can't believe someone hasn't invented an item like this before. Thanks. This will be a very well-used, kitchen tool. Cynthia, Hixson, TN
Lots of features, count down and count up, three timers, and each timer has a different beep. Comes in handy when cooking multiple things at the same time. One thing you can do is set 2 minute count down timers, and have an elasped timer counting up. So you can stir every two minutes, but also see how long it has been cooking.
Best Answer:I set the time when I bought it, but it won't let me change the time now. So, I am no help and yes I would like to know as well! I had thought about taking the batteries out which would reset it and that might work. I will try that tonight...
