Perfect Frozen Meals
I was looking for just the right freezer-to-microwave container for my recent venture into cooking for others. I make a big pot of stew, dish out the evening meal for my husband and I, then put the rest into 2 cup collapse-it bowls and freeze. I don't even have to let it cool first.
I give the meals to my 90 year old mom who some days doesn't feel like cooking. I give them to my busy single daughter, who often eats whatever she can find, and needs better nutrition and loves home cooking.
Cooking for two is hard, unless you cook for 8 or 12 and freeze single servings of the extra for a future meal. Works GREAT!
I've been accumulating the bowls and require that I receive the bowls back in exchange for full bowls with healthy meals for their freezer.
These bowls are perfect for my project!

"Great idea, but stain too easily"
I ordered a few of the 4-cup containers to take leftovers to work for lunch. They fit great in my cabinets. I also like how evenly they cook pasta leftovers in the microwave at work.

The downside is they stain and can't be cleaned. After heating up some pasta, my container is permanently stained from the pasta sauce and is now covered by an orange film. I tried soaking, and a few times in the dishwasher, but they are still orange

Do these bowls ""nest"" or ""stack"" when they are collapsed

My kitchen has a serious storage issue and I thought these might be good for storing leftovers if they don't take too much room in the cupboard.
A shopper on Dec 31, 2013
Best Answer: They stack beautifully. Love them, as they are light weight and able to manage food. Wash and collapse after lunch. Yes they will stand on their own as the collasable effect is associated w/ design. Microwavable silicone, so not worry about chemical break down of plastics & time saving as they prepare vegies etc 1/2 the minutes of other containers

with the knob in the middle, can the containers will be stacked int he fridge?
A shopper on Aug 30, 2015
Best Answer: They stack ok but not as well as rigid bowls. I like these bowls for packing lunches and for smaller things that need storage but i wouldn't stack my fridge with them. They are very handy to store when not in use!
