Which is the best sauce pan for cooking rice, the CTQ or CSX?
A shopper on Jun 16, 2015
Best Answer: The CSX is better for a pretty simple reason. There are no pressure/steam release holes in the CSX lid. Keeping the steam inside the pan for cooking rice is key. The CTQ lids have holes that can be easily overcome with a little tinfoil (but why bother when you can just use the CSX pan).

How much does the 4 qt. saucepan weigh?
Hedda B A on Feb 1, 2015
Best Answer: I'm traveling or I'd weigh it for you. It is a good, substantial pan. Lighter than enameled cast-iron and heavier than a run-of-the-mill pan. Cooks evenly, sits flat. It is already a favorite. Love the short handle for balancing pan when full DLC
