As an F&B professional, I thought that this tool might be a great shortcut to preparing cocktail/food garnishes. Well, it's a great idea, but that's as far as the praise goes. The blades are very dull. In fact, I doubt that the pickle in the example photo was cut using this tool. My first experiments using the tool were with relatively easy to cut produce - strawberries, apples, pears, cucumbers, etc. I actually FLIPPED the tool over, thinking that I used the wrong edge of the blades to cut a strawberry. No, the tool was being used correctly. A sawing motion was needed to cut the strawberry! Same thing with the other produce. It isn't able to finish the cut either, requiring decent pressure against the cutting board to cut all the way through. My expectations for x-acto knife blades was probably too lofty, but I didn't expect dull butter knife edges either. Great if you are cutting bananas, but that's about it.
