I Use These for Everything
I love these covered bakers. You can use them for everything...and clean-up is so much easier! No more transferring leftovers to another container. Just snap the lid on and pop in the fridge. Quality is great too!

Nothing to hang on to
I loved that these had lids, clean up was a breeze and the red color was pretty. But, I made a lasagna in the large baker and it was very heavy. When I took it out of the oven I realized there were no handles to grip on to and was afraid I would burn myself or drop the dish getting it out. Unfortunately I will return these because of that.

Great Set
I ordered this set to use in my Breville toaster oven, and they work great for that. I am finding, however, that I am using them for everything from storing leftovers to microwave cooking to oven cooking. The quality is super, and they are wonderful for serving at the table. It's true that they don't have specific handles, but the lip around the edge is sufficient to get a pot holder under it and get a secure grip. I highly recommend these!

Why did you choose this?
Sur La Table Store
Love these bakers with lids! Great for anytime but perfect for stacking and storing all the leftovers at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have two sets and have given two sets to both daughters. This set is for a friend who admired the dish and lid.

Can the oven-to-table stoneware bakers go directly from the freezer to the oven?
A shopper on Aug 31, 2013
Best Answer: These bakers are highly resistant to thermal variations and shock. However, as with all stoneware bakers, I suggest you let the dish defrost slightly before placing it into the oven

Do the lids keep liquid in?

Lot's of these kinds of lids leak. Was hoping this one has a tight seal...

Should the answer have been 482 degrees (as listed in product description), not 428 degrees? I'm looking for dishes that are broiler-safe. And most broilers get to around 500, don't they? Thanking you in advance for your help.
A shopper on Oct 31, 2014
Best Answer: Yes, it should've been *482°, NOT 428°. Although most broilers heat around 500°, some ovens give you a broiler temperature option, like the Breville Smart Oven, for example. If your oven has an adjustable temperature setting, then you can use these bakers under the broiler, but if your broil setting heats to the standard 500°, then I wouldn't suggest it.
