Made for Kramer knives
It's a knife block. But Kramer knives are rather tall, and don't fit well, or at all, in most blocks. This block was made for them, and they all fit comfortably. Nice finish. It seems well made.

I bought this a few months ago, and I am glad I did, but I think it is a bit over priced for what it is. Paying for the name.

Why did you choose this?
Sur La Table Store
Present Bob Kramer Carbon set does not sit in a Zwilling knife block nor do I have the honing steel.

I am slowly building a collection of Kramer knives, mainly essentials. These knives are incredible, but their size makes it difficult to find appropriate storage. This block should solve the problem.

I don't know if it's my OCD that made me want to get the name brand block for my ever growing collection of kramer knives, but I'm happy with it! This block looks great, I got a chance to check it out in person at my local store, I was disappointed to find it doesn't ship for another month, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. These products are nothing but class, and I'm so glad that the assistants at Sur La Table pointed me in this direction.

Will this house a 12 inch Slicer?
patti w on Jan 2, 2015
Best Answer: The longest knife I have in the block is 12". The too 2 slots, after measuring, appear to be able to hold a 13" knife.
