We received the Stuff a burger for Christmas and we love it. I do recommend starting early to ""stuff"" your burgers for the first time. There is a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it's quick. We all enjoyed creating our on special burger. We did mark each one with tooth picks so we could know which burger belonged to which person. The basket for grilling works great
These call for 3/4 lb of meat to make a burger, 1/2 lb on the bottom, then 1/4 to seal in the filling. I think they would work better with 1/2 lb total. It's really hard to stuff the burgers and get them to seal when there is so much meat. It's a fun idea, and I'm sure kids would love it, but when the burgers come out 3"" thick and take an hour to cook, it's not worth buying
This thing is so easy to use it's ridiculous. We stuffed our first burgers with cheese, bacon, olives, sliced grape tomatoes, jalapeno and other yummies and then just set them on a hot grill for 5 mins/side. A little lettuce on top and it was perfect. I wish I could add a picture as even the first one was worthy of magazine coverage. The only "problem" for some is that it require 3/4 lb of meat. That is a lot of meat to go with all of the added ingredients. That said, my wife got 1/2-way through hers, declared defeat because she was full, took a break and then finished it.
I agree with the review about cutting down on the amount of ground beef. A 3/4 lb. burger is way too much for us! I used less beef, but it was not as easy to build as the information would have you believe. Will take some getting used to. By all means, buy the grilling basket to keep these burgers from falling apart.
My daughter loves to make stuffed burgers but they don"t always come out right. (The cheese sometimes oozes out). I thought these two items would help the process and keep the cheese in while barbecuing.
I ordered three of these in September for Christmas presents and paid a total of $78.17. They did not come with a book and I've been trying to find this particular book but it only showed it was available in Kindle edition. Is there a chance that I can return these and exchange for the one's with the book?

Best Answer:You're welcome to exchange it, but please note that this set is now sold with the book, but not the basket. You'd have to purchase the basket separately
