Mix batter and dispense right in the bottle—measurement markings on the side help you gauge quantities. Screw on top and shake to mix. Removable bottom makes it easy to refill the pen as needed. Three-cup capacity. Top-rack dishwasher safe. 11¼".
I was intrigued by this product's potential use for mini cupcakes. They are always so messy to get the batter in the baking cups. I just tested my batter pen this morning on pancake batter, so much easier! I was able to squeeze out the pancake batter so neatly into my scanpan, making mini pancakes for my son and full size for myself. No mess! The ""pen"" is so easy to load since it has a large screw off panel on the bottom, also makes it super easy to clean. A quick rinse out and I was able to put it in the top rack of my dishwasher to finish cleaning. Then I was ready to make mini cupcakes, the pen also made loading the batter into the cake papers so easy and no mess! A great inexpensive item to make your baking easier
If you have a thick batter it's hard to squeeze out, but with a thin batter it pours out without any squeezing and becomes really messy. It's hard to get all the batter out of the bottle so you either waste batter or have to scoop it out
I have used this batter squeezer for everything from pancakes and waffle batter to cupcakes and muffins. It is so much easier than trying to spoon out the desired amount or pour it directly from the bowl. I have great control and have found that I make much less of a mess when using this product. I went out and purchased 3 more!! It is fantastic for cooking with kids in the kitchen too.
This product promised to solve many messy problems but I've never been able to use it. The thin little gasket on the bottom screw part doesn't stay seated and comes out each time you unscrew the cap. When you put it back in, it still doesn't seat and the batter (or whatever other liquid used) seeps out of the bottom. I've hesitated to return it 'cause it was really not that expensive, but I think I'm going to try
This is one of the least expensive yet most handy tools I use to bake. I use it when I have cake or muffin batter- keep it light. The heavier stuff, you're better off not using this and just scooping in the pan.
It doesn't leak. I can put it in the top rack of my dishwasher. It's easy to use.
Will this work as well for Pancake, Waffles or Cookies

This will work just as well with pancake or waffle batter as it does with cupcake batter, however cookie dough is a too thick and I would not recomment using it for cookies.
