Why did you choose this?
Sur La Table Store
my kids love chocolate chip cookies and this helps make uniform sized cookies without continuously touching the batter to remove from spoon. Now if only there was a device that stopped my husband from grabbing and eating raw cookie dough before I complete the cooking process!

I have used scoopers in the past and none really worked well. This appears to be simple and easy.

Tired of using tools not designed for this purpose. Thought these would be easier to use.
Diane C on Feb 12, 2015
Looks useful for the price. Always a fan of kitchen tools that can have more than one purpose.

How big are the scoops?

I don't see any indication of how big of a cookie each side would make? Or, even better, how much batter does each side hold? 1 tsp? 1 Tbsp
A shopper on Jan 2, 2014
Best Answer: The larger side is a tablespoon and it will make a 2 1/4"" cookie. The smaller side is a teaspoon and it will make 1 3/4"" cookies

Can it be used for scooping meatballs?
A shopper on Mar 30, 2015
Best Answer: I'm not sure. I didn't care for it much. Dough stuck to it. I'm going to stick with my stainless steel scooper.
