Good - until it broke
Great juicer but broke after a year. I guess all that flexing on the plastic finally caused it to snap. I'll get another, but not totally happy with the short life

Best juicer ever!
I've tried others. This one is very strong and extracts every bit of juice. Cleans well in dishwasher and the rivet has stayed in place, unlike others. It is not painted metal, so no paint chips in your recipe! By far the best at a great price. I have given as gifts--well received

Extra set of hands
This juicer is like having an extra set of hands to do the hard work for you. It quickly juices limes and lemons, making any recipe easier to complete

Better than expected!
I was skeptical when I first saw this tool, but the reviews were positive, so I bought one. Sure enough, this thing is outstanding. So far, NO seeds have been pressed into my food items, and it really does give a LOT of juice in all of two seconds. Best of all, the juice is surprisingly clear and low on pulp!

TIPS FOR USE:

1.) Put the citrus in the bowl cut-side-down (backwards from what seems intuitive).

2.) Don't over-squeeze! Once you've squeezed all the ""easy"" juice out, that's it... any more squeezing is a waste of time, as there's virtually nothing left in the citrus to come out. Be aware that the two handles won't come together with the rind in the way, and if you do over-squeeze, you may over-stress the tool.

Yes, it's pricey, but it's a very good product. Best feature of all: it's DISHWASHER SAFE

I'll second that... good until it broke.
I bought my juicer about 2 months ago. I've probably squeezed 50 - 60 lemons and today it snapped! Up until then, it extracted all of the juice and caught the pits beautifully, but it just didn't hold up well. At $25, I'm hesitating about purchasing another one.

No seeds in the juice!
Since I love all things lemon, I was up for trying a new lemon juicer. This one is terrific. It contains all the seeds of the lemon halves right within the juicer. You may then open up the juicer over the sink where it's OK for the seeds to fall out. My only complaint is that sometimes when you start to squeeze the lemon halves, the juice squirts out the top of the lemon halves---perhaps the juicer could stand to be another 1/2 - 1"" deeper to prevent that from happening. I really do like this juicer, however, and have already used it several times after just having received it a few weeks ago

Up to all jobs
I have broken a lot of other models but this one has weathered all of my efforts so far...Tough and reliable

Easy to use Easy to Clean
This juicer gets a lot more juice from citrus than I can by hand, for sure. It keeps most of the seeds out, except for those from smaller limes, like key limes. To juice the key limes, I just cut a slice from one end and inserted that end down to squeeze; with larger lemons and limes, cutting them in half and placing the pulp end down is the way to go. With some of my larger lemons, I ended up having to cut off a good bit of the rind to make it fit well enough to really squeeze all the juice out. For those reasons, and because most of it is plastic, I have to deduct a star from my rating. Otherwise, it is quite easy to use.

Great product
I love to cook and bake with fresh citrus and use this all the time. It gets every last drop out of the lemon or lime while catching all of the seeds. It is really well made and makes a great addition to any kitchen.

gears break
Despite the description, there is no 'stainless steel gear mechanism '. The gears are plastic and they break. Mine broke within 6 months of purchase with weekly use. One should think of the purchase price as a brief rental fee. I'm going to keep looking for the juicer with actual metal gears.

I manage two bars and Margaritas are our specialty - these juicers work on limes and keep my staff from hurting their wrists. When you make hundreds of fresh margaritas a night, your wrists need support and the Chef'n Juicer does the job!
