Description

Add a few drops of this pure lemon oil to your favorite pound cake, coffeecake, or biscotti recipe for delicious results. Boyajian citrus oils are all natural essences cold pressed from the rind of the fruit. The oils should be used sparingly in place of zest or peel.

As a general rule, use up to ½ teaspoon per cup of dry ingredients, plus ¼ teaspoon per cup of liquid ingredients in any recipe. We recommend starting with less, since you can always add more.

Lemon oil as opposed to lemon extract was called for in a recipe. (Lemon Pucker Pie) The recipe noted that lemon extract would not have the same flavor as the lemon oil, that the oil would taste like fresh lemon.
