"Sur La Table Braiser, 5 qt."
Love this pan, it is a dream to cook in as well as to clean. However, the handles get VERY HOT, and fast. Both my son and I have burned our fingers on the pan as it's very natural to grip the handles as you stir and cook. We have learned to put a pot holder beside the pan to avoid burning our hands on the handles.
Overall a very nice quality product, only draw back is the hot handles

Good buy
when i looked online, i thought it was a heavy Braiser. But it is a lightweight pan. The size is good and great for everyday cooking. Wish it was heavier

Nice pan but not perfect
There are sometimes things you find out after you use a new pan that you'd not thought of before. This is the case in this instance. I do love the size and non-stick surface but what I didn't realize is that these handles get hot. You will need to have potholders handy. I don't understand why this isn't like other pans. Also the glass cover isn't as practical as the other type cookers. The pan can go in the oven but the glass top cannot so you'll need to use something else on top like foil if you want it covered.
I got a great price and that influenced my purchase but I know better now what to look for. This does replace an old similar pan but that had handles that didn't get hot and a metal lid.

Love this pot!
I had been looking for a braiser and a dutch oven for 6 months ever since I used my boyfriends cast iron one. When I saw this and the accompanying Dutch oven for sale a few weeks ago I had to get them. I love this pot and so does my college daughter who has used it more than me so far! LOL It's easy to clean, non stick and everything seems to cook great in it. It was definitely a great buy and getting it on sale was a steal

Nice all purpose pan
I have used this pan several times since it arrived for different purposes and it works very well. My only complaint is that the handles get very hot.

Best pan EVER!!!
I purchased this to replace a large saute pan whose ""non-stick"" coating has seen better days. I love the depth and overall size of the pan, just wish I didn't have to use pot holders to pick it up when using it on the stove. I ordered this on April 1 (no joke), received it on April 2 (last night), used it to cook dinner, and it was AWESOME! it doesn't ""dance"" across the stove-top while stirring and the non-stick surface is wonderful. I'm tempted to find more pans in this collection. The quality is top-notch and the sale price amazing

Excellent general purpose pot
I've been using this braiser several times a week since the day it arrived. The nonstick surface is great, and the pot heats quickly and evenly. I've made sauces, stews, and soups in it. (Come to think of it, I'm not sure I've actually braised anything yet, but it's just been a couple of weeks.) I do wish the handles didn't get so hot - that means you need two potholders to manipulate it or lift it. But I'm quite pleased with the purchase over all

Perfect for almost everything!
We immediately use this the moment we got it out of the box. The stew was cooked perfectly and we noticed that the heat is spread-out evenly. the only complaint is that the handle gets really hot too (that's why features is just 4 stars) so you have to really careful when using this braiser. this was on sale when I got it so value is 5 star!!!

Plenty of room in this braiser
I really needed something a little bigger than my regular skillet. This one gives you a little more room. Great quality, not too heavy, nonstick. Really enjoying this one

Great Braiser
I bought one of these a year ago. Loved it so much I bought a second! Sturdy and durable but not as heavy as the Staubs and LeCruesets. I use at least one of these pans every day. Sometimes both at the same time.

Good value
This pot has quickly become one of the most used in my kitchen. It goes from stovetop to oven seamlessly, and is extremely versatile given the volume it holds and the amount of cooking surface.

Great Pan!
I have one and love it!! This one is a gift for my sister. It is great to use on top of stove or in oven. I use it for soup, sauteing, cooking a roast, chili. The only thing to be very careful is if using on top of stove DO NOT touch the handles, they will be very hot! I know, I grabbed the handle shortly after the pan started heating up, ouch!! Other wise, it has been my very popular pan lately!
