Great product!
this is a great baking dish...just the right size for baking a small batch of cornbread or maybe a small dessert for 4.

Perfect size
Everyone has more than a couple of baking dishes in the cupboard, but this little baker is perfect for a casserole for 2 with one night of leftovers, or a small dessert, etc. Plus it's attractive enough to serve on the table with pretty dishes, which I care about. It may not be as diurable as a cast iron/enamel baker, but, again, it's pretty.

Use for single or double serving vice using 9x13 which most bakers are made.

I've used my bakers often and they are not only the perfect height but are the perfect size.

The color says yellow but when you select yellow the picture that comes up looks brown. There is a photo with the white dish and a yellow dish with pasta in it. Is that the yellow color? Which is it?
Cheryl V on Jul 10, 2015
Best Answer: Yes, it is yellow, I love this dish and use it often. It's kind of a slightly golden yellow ,not brown at all.

There was a sticker inside the baker and the glue is horrible, I couldn't remove it so I haven't been able to use the baker. I tried soap and hot water and vinegar. It still has a thick tacky feel. Acetone would probably work, but then I wouldn't want to cook in it for fear it wouldn't completely wash out. What do you suggest?
A shopper on Jan 22, 2016
Best Answer: I had the same problem and tried all the glue materials including acetone and they didn't work. Months after getting it, I soaked it in water with soap for a long time (I don't remember how long maybe 12 hours or so) and then I used a 3 M yellow scrub sponge to take the remainder off. It doesn't scratch and I couldn't use the baker with that glue (boy those Italians really use tough glue). I did get it off and I really like the baker now.

Has anyone ever frozen food in these bakers? I'd love to know if they're freezer-safe. I know they could not go directly from freezer to oven, but was wondering if food could be frozen in them, defrosted, then baked. Please let me know if you've had success freezing in them. Thanks!
Kathleen S on Nov 28, 2015
Best Answer: I have frozen in it once, but only for a short period of time. The baker did quite well and I thawed it in the refrigerator then warmed it to room temperature before putting it in the oven. My dish did not have a meat ingredient or I would be hesitant since thawing methods would be limited. Good luck to you!
