"Attractive, well made, useful object"
I was delighted with the appearance of this charming little salt keeper. It's just the right size for my purpose and it's easy to rotate the lid to access the salt. The only drawback is that the salt keeper smelled strongly of wood finish when I removed the shrink wrap. It had been wrapped before the smell had dissipated. I just left it open on the counter for a few days to air it out. Although it still has a faint odor, the smell doesn't seem to affect the taste of the Kosher salt I store in it. I would still recommend it -- especially at the excellent price
