Why did you choose this?
Sur La Table Store
Good size for small cooking needs and really like the glass see-through top.

I need a new mid-sized saucepan. But there are so many choices - which should I get? Any advice about how to decide which is going to work best for me would be much appreciated. Or if you could share why you chose the one you got, that'd be helpful, too. Many thanks!

Best Answer: We are happy with the Sur La Table Hard Anodized Saucepan with Straining Lid. But the most important thing to ask yourself is Will your pan be cared for? Any nonstick pan can be permanently damaged in a heartbeat by high temperature or the dishwasher or metal utensils. If you have a family member, teenager, hubby, etc, who may be careless, then go for a stainless steel pan or possibly a ceramic pan.
