keep out the dust
Lorraine G on Apr 28, 2016
I deal with 400 acres of dust, the windows are almost always open, the overhead fan runs continually, and even if none of the above were true, I run a dog shelter, and there are almost always a dozen mostly-large dogs running (literally) charging around the house. Enough said?

I have a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer and a small cover. I wanted a cover that actually fit the stand mixer and the silver color will go well with the color scheme in our kitchen.

I just bought the KitchenAid pro line 7 qt stand mixer from Sur la table and need a cover for it. Looks like this one only covers up to the 6 qt size. Can you tell me what to order?
Debbie H on Nov 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: At this time, it doesn't look like KitchenAid makes a cover for the 7qt mixers.
I was told that the Mixer Covers come in different sizes but there's a question & answer that this one fits the 4.5, 5 and 6 qt Lift Bowl Mixer. Would this cover be too big to fit the 5 qt Artisan Stand Mixer? Even if it does fit (since it can fit a 6 qt), would it be too big a fit? If they come in different sizes, can we choose the size & color that we specifically need?
Lorraine S on Oct 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Thanks so much for the reply Amanda and for the reassurance. Actually it was a shop assistant at a Sur La Table store that told me that there are different sizes of the cover for the different sizes of mixers. So I'm glad that you made the clarification. It is appreciated : )
My wife has a RKP26M1X lift-bowl pro 600 6qt mixer, I have been wondering if this would actually fit. I keep reading elsewhere that the fitted covers all seem to be for tilt-head mixers?
Randy R on Dec 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The cover does not cover the entire mixer, it stops at the base. Mine is a 12 year old KSSS max 300. It is tall and not like the current mixers.
Does this fit the kitchenaid stand mixer that has the arms around the bowl?
A shopper on Dec 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This cover does not fit the Professional Stand Mixer, which is the model you are referIng to. It is made for the Artisian line of mixers that have the flip-back top. I purchased it thinking it would cover my Professional model and had to return it. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a cover that fits my KitchenAid mixer.
Does this fully cover the 6 quart mixer, or is it too short (like an inch or 2 too short)?
A shopper on Nov 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have the KSM150 (5 quart) and it fits, just barely. I actually have to keep the zipper unzipped about 1/2" for it to cover the bottom edge of the stand completely.
Will this cover fit a KitchenAid Hobart K5-SS bowl lift mixer?
A shopper on Dec 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it will.
Will this cover fit the KitchenAid Artisan Mixer 5 Qt.?
Marilyn B on Dec 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have an older KitchenAid Mixer and the cover just barely did fit mine. My mixer is probably a 5 quart but not use on this either.
Sorry I could not be of more help.
