A knife is faster!
I bought this thinking that it would make mincing faster...in a way it does, however it is the time spent picking out the minced herbs that were lodged in between all the roller blades that was tiresome and tedious. By the time one has picked out the rest of the herbs from between the roller blades, I could have chopped more than twice the total amount that I started with, by using my knife.
If someone has arthritis, the mincing is faster, but again the picking out of the remaining herbs from in between the roller blade would be fairly challenging I suppose one could just rinse off the roller blades and loose the rest of the herbs that were in between the roller blades which would be very wasteful.
I would recommend this product only after warning that cleaning out the herbs that are lodged in between the blades is a challenge and you still need to re-mince these rescued herbs again!

I used to hate to use fresh herbs b/c I hated mincing them. I now cook w/ fresh herbs 3-4 times a week b/c this has made mincing a BREEZE! Just a few swipes, and you're done! The only thing I hate is that it's made in China

Is the Chef'n Palm dishwasher safe?
A shopper on Aug 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes it's safe and works great! The only negative is that I find it hard to open it up to clean. The button is placed in a position that makes it hard to grip the mincer and push the button at the same time that you're trying to pull it apart.
