Outstanding pan...
I love this pan, using it for pretty much everything but crepes. It was worth the price and highly recommend it to any cook who also appreciates easy clean up and a healthy non teflon no scratch surface!!

Worth the price!
We bought this to replace a smaller, similarly styled Caphalon nonstick pan that had lost its finish after debating for months whether the Scanpan was too big or could possibly be worth $300. Happy to report that IT IS! We have fallen in LOVE with this pan and use it nearly every day, even when a smaller pan might be more appropriate. Heats evenly, feels solid and heavy duty, and NOTHING sticks to it. The vents in the lid are wonderful too. Cleans in under a minute. Fabulous!

i was never a fan of non stick cookware
with scanpan i am able to achieve high-heat cooking that other nonstick pans could never match. it effortlessly browns meats and reduces sauces, and i'm even able to deglaze.
every time i purchase another scanpan i come back for more. it's truly remarkable. i especially adore the chefs pan, which allows me to cook for a crowd. clean up is effortless; i let the pan cool down, wipe the inside with a paper towel and rinse in warm, soapy water. even though it can go in the dishwasher, hand washing is easier than trying to fit it in the dishwasher.
absolutely loving it without exception!

Stay-cool handles!!
Waited for the sale because it seemed too pricey. I love the pan, its size and it is pretty enough to serve in. Best of all the handles stay cool.

Best Non-Stick
This is my third Scanpan. Had been waiting until the Chef's pan came on sale. Every other non-stick I've purchased over the years just never held up to every day use. My first Scanpan, a fry pan, is a year old and looks good as new. These pans are well made and sit flat on my electric cooktop so that they heat evenly.

Best pan. Ever. Perfect for stove top sear to oven, schnitzels, eggs, etc. you can literally cut meat right in the pan and nary a scratch. Not sure how good it is for the knife though. Lol.

Fits the bill
I have been needing a large size pan. I love the glass too so you can see what is inside. Handles stay cool!

I have the 11" fry pan and the 3 qt saucepan and love both of them and wanted a larger pan. I do not put them in the dishwasher, the clean up of them couldn't be easier with just soap and water.
Marcine B on Oct 24, 2016
I've owned other brands for years & now believe Scanpan is the best cookware available.
My first purchases were the Scanpan Professional 8" fry pan & 10.5" grill pan.
When the CTQ series came out, I purchased the 10" covered fry pan.

I like the concept of two smaller handles rather than one long handle so the CTQ Chef's Pan is a match made in heaven!
Also, the CTQ totally flat bottom cooks better on my glass top range.
The stainless steel exterior is a breeze to keep spotless.

Bonnie O on Mar 24, 2016
I like a large sauté pan with a lid and two handles. Easy to use and clean. It is my go to cooktop pan, and when needed, can be used in the oven.
CASSANDREA M on Mar 21, 2016
Needed deeper pan I can make casseroles and braises with- otherwise - same thoughts as review for skillet

Replacing a Capholon whose nonstick surface has worn away. We have several other Scanpan products and believe they are superior.
David S on Jan 13, 2016
Love my Scanpan skillet and needed a deeper pan.
anita r on Nov 9, 2015
After much research I selected this. I need a large 5.5 to 6 qt pan that will go from gas cook top to oven. My old one, a workhorse inherited from my mom, is wearing out. This should last a life time and then get passed on to my family.
Jacquelyn A on Nov 8, 2015
I wanted a really large pan with short handles. Most frying pans have long handles create storage and fitting into a sink issues! I also needed excellent even conductivity since I have a downdraft vent. I LOVE this pan :)
Katherine H on Nov 5, 2015
With a new induction stove top I needed to replace my pans. The ones I purchased were high end but I missed the nonstick. A friend told me about Scanpan so I bought 2 frying pans a few months ago to try them out and loved them. I am now working on the collection. (it is worth the investment).
Victoria T on Nov 1, 2015

Love this line of Scanpan it holds up really well and the non-stick works really well.
Eric V on Apr 6, 2015
I've used the CTQ 11" skillet virtually every day since its release, and couldn't be happier with the performance of the CTQ line. I often finish dishes in the oven, and this will make the transition more neatly than the similarly-sized sautee pan because of the smaller handle. Really, when you get to something this big, you aren't going to be "flipping" things using a long handle anyway.
Matthew L on Apr 6, 2015
Love our other Scanpan and wanted this for its capacity.
Kathleen S on Apr 3, 2015
I have the large sauté pan, but frequently found myself needing two larger deeper pans - so added this to my collection. Scanpan are the best cookware pieces I have ever owned.
BETH A on Apr 2, 2015
I wanted a larger pan that I could easily prepare dishes on stove top that need to be moved to the oven for finishing.....a pan that doesn't have the long handle.
Ronald P on Apr 1, 2015
Although I already have the 3 Qt. Saute Pan w/Lid, this is a little bigger, and will fit more easily in the oven (no long handle).
Holly H on Mar 30, 2015
I have other scanpans and they are my favorite pans. I'm purchasing this to replace an AllClad pan.

CATHERINE H on Mar 22, 2015
Love my first Scanpan purchase (a skillet) and needed another larger-sized pan for my big-family meals. Was waiting until it came on sale. When it did, I jumped on the purchase. Can't wait for it to arrive. I'm guessing this will be my most-used pan!
Stephanie M on Mar 21, 2015
My husband and I are really impressed with our CTQ skillet and wanted a deeper and larger version to add to our collection. We like that we can use metal utensils in it without causing any damage.
JOANNE M on Mar 20, 2015
I have a CTQ nonstick skillet, that I use daily, sometimes twice a day, and love it! It cooks nicely, cleans up wonderfully and it still looks brand new! I sometimes need a larger one, which is why I am purchasing this one today and love that it has a lid.
Brandi Y on Mar 20, 2015
I have two scan pan skillets that I absolutely love cooking with so I wanted to add this Chef's pan for more versatility.

What is the difference between Scanpan IQ, Pro IQ, and CTQ
A shopper on Mar 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Scanpan IQ, Pro IQ & CTQ are all upgrades of Scanpan Classic, Professional & CTX respectively. All 3 are induction compatible. Pro IQ & CTQ have the same stainless steel, ergonomic handles, whereas IQ has a silicone based handle. Additionally, Pro IQ & CTQ are available in stores & online, and also by set or open stock, but IQ is only available open stock & online.CTQ--the newest for the Scanpan line--has a significantly glossier cooking surface than Pro IQ & IQ, so that you are better able to ensure you have removed all food from the surface of the pan when cleaning. It is also the only line of these three that has a stainless steel exterior
Do the CTQ Chef's Pan and the Pro IQ chef's pans hold the same quantity? They seem to have the same dimensions (12 1/2" diameter x 4" high). But the CTQ Details state it has a 5 Qt capacity whereas the Pro IQ is listed as 4 Qts. What is correct?
Nancy S on Dec 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: They have slightly different dimensions. The Pro IQ is only 2 1/2" high.

Can I slow braise or stew with this pan and its venting lid or do I need to cover the vent?
steven a on Mar 19, 2016

Would this pan work well for a frittata?
Marcia B on Nov 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's great for frittatas! It's a pretty wide pan, so I usually add an egg or two to whatever recipe I'm using.

A shopper on Dec 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It comes with the lid pictured and it is not a wok, but a chef's Pan.
