I just picked one of these up and we had so much fun with it over the weekend. Very clever design, not only pairing a different tail (or legs) with each aquatic animal shape, but also putting the fishbones in as the stick that holds the lolly on the base, providing a nice discovery moment after you eat your popsicle. My 3-year-old could hardly contain himself.
The system incredibly easy to use, just pour in the juice/filling of your choice and place the bases with their corresponding tops. Or don't! mix it up and put human flipper legs on a shark! Lots of Dr. Moreau-style mash-ups to be had here.
The popsicles come out really well formed and are quite detailed, and they are removed extremely easily. The silicone molds just turn inside out as your pull the popsicle out. And everything wipes/rinses clean with water very easily, no fuss no muss.
We made 3 batches over 2 days and just devoured them. Can't wait until summer
This ocean-themed pop mold is so much fun! My kids have really enjoyed making ice pops in this and I love that the pops are so easy to remove. So far strawberry lemonade is their favorite flavor, but the possibilities are endless. The mold is the perfect size, nice and narrow so it fits easily in the freezer. Plus it's super easy to clean too. Love it
No children, so no grandchildren and I still purchased these! They are too, too cute, so I've been making up all sorts of Popsicle recipes and sampling them on my friends. They are loving this summer with these babies.
If you are thinking about it think no more. Get them, you won't regret it. They are a little small, just eat two then. Removal from the form is a breeze.
Grankids love them; mom and dad love the ease of these!
We have the fish pop molds and the round pop molds. What is awesome about them is our now 4 year old preschooler matches the symbols on the fishtails when we make them. As a healthy alternative; we make fresh yogurt/fruit smoothies and have also used the dark chocolate almond milk to freeze in these with total success! And they pop right out!!! Cudos to whomever invented these!! Going to order two more sets and thinking about getting more for friends grandkids for Christmas!!
Best Answer:I bought this as a gift, but a a friend who also has them says she doesn't see why it wouldn't work for a pudding pop. As long as whatever you put into them will freeze, I'd guess it would work.
