What color is the glaze on the top of the bottle? Caramel (brown)-colored? Red? I can't tell the color well on my computer. Thanks!

Best Answer: Terra cotta I would call it. Orangey-brown.it's quite handsome, I think. Looks like you'd find it in an older Italian kitchen

Is there a companion bottle for vinegar?

Best Answer: I use it for olive oil and fill it for dailt use near stove. It can be used for vinegsr as well.
