This sets the standard
This is the pan against which all others are judged. Granted, All-Clad handles are not perfect, but this skillet does everything well. I have used mine for years and consider it the hardest working item in my kitchen arsenal. Great for pan sauces

Who needs non-stick?
Just follow the directions, especially with regard to pre-heating, and this pan will perform better than any non-stick. And it will last longer since there's no coating to wear out over time. I use Bar Keepers Friend to maintain "like new" appearance.

Great purchase !
I bought this pan for three reasons:
1. it's All-Clad and known for quality
2. I wanted a lid with the pan
3. The great sales price
I absolutely love this pan, it does eggs 'over easy' perfectly. All I have to do is put on the lid, once the eggs are in the pan, and pull it off the heat.a few minutes later. The yolks never break...

Can I use the stainless steel all clad on an induction cooktop?

can you use the stainless steel all clad skillet on an induction cook top?
Jane Connor on May 26, 2014
Best Answer: Yes, stainless steel is compatible with induction cook tops. I think All Clad only has one line, MC2, that has inner stainless with outer brushed aluminum that cannot be used on an induction cooktop

Oven safe to what temp?
William S on Mar 5, 2015
Best Answer: I have not used the skillet in the oven but given its heavy duty construction I would say good for 500 degrees at least. It is a well constructed skillet most certainly not a lighweight
