Perfect pot for my daily use!
I use this kind of 2 and 3 quarts pot everyday and I am tired of finding a good qlty one. I have 5 before I got this scanpan pot. I have been using this in the past 2 weeks (nonstop and 2-3 times daily) and it never fails me. Everything heats up fast and even. There is nothing that peels off after high heat. BRAVO! I love my SCANPAN!

Will this line of pans work on my induction stove?
linda v on Dec 17, 2014
Best Answer: The classic line is made of cast aluminum & ceramic titanium nonstick. Cast aluminum is not a magnetic material, therefore this line isn't induction compatible. All the other Lines of Scanpan we carry are, but not this one.

Can I purchase a lid for the classic 1 qt saucepan?
Daryl B on Nov 12, 2014
Best Answer: I believe you'd need the 6 1/4" lid. Scanpan makes it, but we don't carry it.

What size lid would the 2 quart saucepan take?
Kathy C on Mar 16, 2015
Best Answer: I measured my 2 quart scanpan and the lid measures 7" ... The pan I bought came with it's own lid. I absolutely love my 2 qt scanpan!

I need a new mid-sized saucepan. But there are so many choices - which should I get? Any advice about how to decide which is going to work best for me would be much appreciated. Or if you could share why you chose the one you got, that'd be helpful, too. Many thanks!

Best Answer: We are happy with the Sur La Table Hard Anodized Saucepan with Straining Lid. But the most important thing to ask yourself is Will your pan be cared for? Any nonstick pan can be permanently damaged in a heartbeat by high temperature or the dishwasher or metal utensils. If you have a family member, teenager, hubby, etc, who may be careless, then go for a stainless steel pan or possibly a ceramic pan.
