Scan pans
I was tired of nonstick pans where the coating chipped off. Went to Sur La Table and was directed to the scan pans. I purchased the 10.25"" skillet and was amazed at how NOTHING sticks to it and what an easy cleanup ! While surfing the internet a few weeks ago I found a set of 2 scan pans that were on sale. I not only purchased them myself but immediately called my 2 best friend foodies and they did the same. Now we're all converts and lovin' the scan pan! Worth every penny

Great non stick pans
I love these scan pans and wouldn't use anything else for non stick. I let it heat up, add a little oil and eggs slide around making it very easy to flip them without breaking.

Scanpan vs. Zwilling
These Scanpans are hands-down the best skillets I've ever used. Compared these head-to-head with Zwilling J.A. Henkels VistaClad and the Scanpans came in the clear winner. Even heat distribution, durable, SUPER EASY to clean. I use these to make eggs/omelets almost ever morning, and they are great. I don't put mine in the diswasher though, but only b/c they are so easy to clean!

Scanpan skillets
We love these skillets! They make cooking and clean-up so easy. I even noticed that my husband tends to grab these first over the other pans we have in our shelf and oddly enough he's quite particular when it comes to cooking his food. These are getting tons of use at our home and always look brand new.

Are these pans oven safe?
A shopper on Jan 18, 2015
Best Answer: I have only purchased skillets so far and love them. I wouldn't put them in the oven because of the handles. I plan to purchase a roasting pan in the near future and I know I'll be just as satisfied with it as I am with the skillets.

Is the handle safe to use under the broiler? I like finish off my frittatas under the broiler and not sure if the handle on the classic skillet is safe or if I need to go up to the CTQ line with the metal handle. I don't want the handle to melt, as it looks plastic.
A shopper on Dec 7, 2014
Best Answer: no worries handle good to 450 degrees i use mine under broiler all the time just do not forget it in there no need to pay the huge amount more for the metal handles A+++ pans I love them

what is the difference between the classic and ctq series?
A shopper on Feb 12, 2015
Best Answer: I love the Classic and have used them for years. The exterior of the pan is like the interior, so if you crack an egg and it dribbles down the side, it wipes right off. They are said to be dishwasher safe but, since they are so easy to clean, I never have done it. The difference would be the metal exterior and handle on the ctq - maybe a little snappier looking and probably much better if you happen to have an induction cook top. If you do not have induction, I'd definitely go with the classic at half the price. You can't beat it!

Can these be used on a gas cook top?
A shopper on Nov 10, 2014
Best Answer: These easy to clean pans can definately be used on a gas cooktop. I have 5 Scanpans and often have more then one being used on the cooktop, they are my favorite "go to" skillet. And the clean up is a breeze!

are these pans dishwasher safe?
A shopper on Feb 26, 2015
Best Answer: The advertising says Scanpan skillets are dishwasher safe; but the literature that comes with the skillets says quick hand washing is recommended. I E-mailed the company for an explanation of why hand washing was recommended. They could not or would not explain! I haven't used my skillets often; but I wash them in my dishwasher.

Are these pans suitable for use on a radiant electric range with glass surface?
A shopper on Dec 16, 2014
Best Answer: Yes. I use them on a ceramic top stove. I gave them as a gift and they also use them on a glass- top stove. They work perfectly!
